How to Find IFSC Code
Finding your IFSC code is easy. Here are 5 reliable methods:
Method 1: Search on ifscindia.com
The fastest way — simply search by bank name, branch name, or city on ifscindia.com. Results appear instantly with full branch details.
Method 2: Check Your Cheque Book
The IFSC code is printed on every cheque leaf, usually at the top left corner next to the MICR code. Look for an 11-character code starting with your bank's 4-letter code.
Method 3: Bank Passbook
Open your bank passbook — the IFSC code is typically printed on the first page along with your account number, branch name, and MICR code.
Method 4: Net Banking / Mobile App
Log in to your bank's net banking portal or mobile app. Navigate to Account Details or Profile — the IFSC code is displayed alongside your account information.
Method 5: Call Customer Care
Call your bank's toll-free customer care number. Provide your account number or branch name, and they will give you the IFSC code.
